Microdermabrasion: This new and very popular treatment for the face and neck is most effective at minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and lifting off the brown and blotchy pigmentation associated with mature or sun-damaged skin. Using this technique, a stream of corundum crystals is passed over the surface of the skin at a high rate of speed. These crystals remove the upper dead skin cells revealing fresh new skin underneath.
